Category Archives: Good Booze
I obviously have not posted in an extremely long time. This year has been one of transformational growth and I am committed to my continued evolution by focusing on a new writing/life-improvement quest that I am dubbing the #BeAwesome Project. I recently launched a new site beawesomeproject.com and for the next year am planning on almost exclusively posting here. As always I cannot thank you enough for taking time out of your day to share in mine and I hope you will continue to join me in this new venture.
With sincerest gratitude ~ Chase
The spice factor, the price ($6), and the pickled tomatillo’s make the bloody mary at World Famous in Pacific Beach my current favorite. Cheers!
Wearing my glasses along with a hoodie and backpack to Trader Joe’s to pick up this Vintage Press cabernet got me carded for my booze purchase. Just another reason to dress like a college kid for the rest of my life. Cheers!
Alcohol soaked gummy bears have become quite the trend the past few years. Tonight we learn that the delightful treats cannot stand up to Everclear (but really what can?) and instead disintegrate in the liquor instead of becoming pleasingly plump full of alcohol.
After this mishap a new batch of candies were placed in a bath of cake flavored vodka.
And it looks like they were delightful Thanks to my cousin January in Texas for tonight’s submission, cheers!
Boatswain IPA is available at your local Trader Joe’s and while it’s not going on my booze rotation it is a cheap and smoothing drinking brew (that I wouldn’t call an IPA due to the lack of hoppiness – and hey IMHO hoppiness = happiness). Cheers!
Went to my first kettlebell class tonight and I DIDN’T PUKE OR PASS OUT! Mainly because I stopped before that happened hehe. To celebrate, and recover, I’m enjoying a glass of Darkhorse Cabernet which is, get this, from Modesto and good!?! I’m also curling up with my Kindle because I got 2 awesome new titles (from two awesome lady elves) thanks to Google+ Secret Santa. Yes, today was a good day. Cheers!
